Alice in Borderland Season 2

Episode No 6 Recap

Alice in Borderland Season 2 Episode 6 wastes no time picking up where we left off. Usagi tries to defend herself from the Queen, who runs after Arisu, knocking her down. Usagi does her best to hold him back. Usagi manages to turn three of the boys to her side, but it's no good. They were convinced that survival and working under the Queen was the best job.

Usagi gives an emotional speech, telling them they have something bigger to fight for - and that comes from beating the Queen, clearing every face card, and returning to their world. It's a rousing speech that convinces the other man to step out of the shadows and back to their side. However, they need to get 5 more and there is only one solution - to play the Queen in their own game.

Arisu finds herself cornered by a bunch of the Queen's men, but she manages to grab the chain and swing herself to safety. In doing so, the group walks right into their own trap, and the Challengers manage to win everyone over to their side... except the Queen, of course.

After the queen is defeated, Arisu confronts her on the roof and asks if she is actually one of the first players. The Queen remains furious and simply tells him to clean up all the games and only then will he learn the truth. With that, the Queen jumps off the edge of the site and leaps towards her doom, but is struck by a laser before she can touch the ground.

Arisu and Usagi are all released from the game and leave. The pair continue on their way and come to the ruins of the stadium that Akane ran from. Together they go inside and find a hot spring. While resting inside, they look up using the water and are shocked to find several elephants there too. Finally, Arisu and Usagi kiss, but in doing so, their romantic escape is completely usurped by the truth of their surroundings. They see a body crushed against the walls.

Meanwhile, Kuina moves on and finds her old bed in the hospital, desperate to find her mother again. As her hope grows, so does Ann as she contemplates her next move while in the wilderness. He finds a deer that has been shot, which is significant in that the deer do not lose hope. This works as a symbolic gesture to keep going as he decides not to give up and go back to finish these games. Sure, we still have the King of Spades, but we also have the King of Diamonds in the Supreme Court.

Chishiya happens to be there, competing in the ultimate game called the Beauty Pageant. Contestants have 3 minutes to choose a number from 0 to 100. Then the average value of those numbers is multiplied by 0.8, and the winner is the one who chooses the number closest to this result. The winner remains on the same number of points, but those who reach -10 will be eliminated. It is removed by pouring sulfuric acid on them. The King of Diamonds was seen as a lawyer in his previous life, especially if it was where the Supreme Court was located.

Master Kuzuryu easily takes a 2-0 lead, guessing the guesses both times. Through flashbacks, we learn that Kuzuryu was a righteous lawyer until he was convinced by his superiors to just do his job and not think about right and wrong actions. He refuses to do so, and after seeing how the sausage is made, Kuzuryu sees exactly what goes into the justice system - and it's not pretty.

Two players end up with -10 points and they get hit with a nasty dose of acid that burns their skin. It is an absolutely barbaric and horrible way to die. As a result of them falling to the bottom three, new rules are introduced. If two or more players pick the same number, they will be eliminated from the round and both will lose one point. Second, picking the correct number will cause the other players to lose two points instead of one.

After everyone picks the same number, Chishiya manages to get the upper hand in the next round, making him question what his opponents will do. He manages to beat him in the elimination round, leaving two players. Chishiya and Master Kuzuryu.

Another new rule is added with the last two players. If a player chooses zero as their number, if they choose 100, the other player wins. It's a rule to make things fairer in a world where fairness is defined by the checkbook balance rather than goodness. from their heart.

Chishiya knows all about this, even though she was at the root of the corruption when a donor patient was promoted to the transplant list before a child in desperate need of surgery. Kuzuryu decides to sacrifice himself, using his own ideals to allow the King to go out on his own terms.

Kuzurya is unrepentant, and with her game of justice and choice, Chishiya comes out on top and walks away in one piece.

Meanwhile, Akane goes off on her own and decides to leave Aguni leaning against a tree, while Arisu and Usagi make a big decision and choose to fight. Kuina makes the same choice, deciding to fight for salvation, setting things up for an exciting few episodes to wrap up this season.

  Episode Review

Alice in Borderland is back with another good episode, this time featuring some new games. The idea of breaking everyone up and letting them explore their own parts of the world actually works surprisingly well, and there's sure to be some dramatic chapters to watch.

The series has done a solid job of further developing the world this year, and it will be interesting to see how everything ties together. It is not known what role Arisu and Usagi play here.
