Young actor Aberaam Varma has caught the attention of the audience with films like Manu and Rahu. This time he is all set to have fun with a breezy rom-com Neetho directed by Balu Sharma. The movie hit theaters today and let's see how it fares.
Story
Varun is an employee at an insurance company whose job is at risk. With the help of his uncle, Varun manages to get wedding insurance for Meghana (Saathvika Raj) and Satya's marriage. Varun is worried because this policy is very important for his professional career. Moreover, he has a girlfriend with whom he has communication problems. Was there a marriage in question? Is Varu's job safe? What are the obstacles faced by Varu in this process? Watch the movie to know the answers.
Extra Points:
He has played the role of Varun neatly, there is an innocence to it. The emotions portrayed by the actor who is stressed about his work is extremely good. He looked good and performed well in important scenes.
Some dialogues are well written and meaningful. Both parts have some good feel-good moments. Ravi Varma, Rajeev Kanakala and others do well in their roles.
There are no overly funny series, but there are some subtle comedy that will make you laugh. The entire film is set in a breezy manner that is delightful to watch.
Negative points
The main drawback of the film is its story full of snails, which seems a little boring and sometimes tests the patience. This rom-com should have ended on a crisp note, but the director took too long to build the actual plot. A lot of unwanted scenes are included in the movie, which is not worth much in terms of the plot of the movie.
Scenes are too long and long single shot sequences affect the viewing experience. After a while, the movie also becomes predictable, which doesn't excite us much. More magical moments should have been included in the film to make it more attractive.
The film may not appeal to all sections of the audience as it focuses on a simple love track surrounded by a more corporate environment. Especially the first part is at a low level, it makes the audience very bored
Technical Aspects:
Vivek Sagar's music is pleasant to listen to and several songs are well composed. The cinematography is good and the office locations are well presented. The production values are superb. The editing should have been better, the scenes should have been shorter.
As far as director Balu Sharma is concerned, he has done a subpar job with his execution. His idea of presenting a simple and pure love story is commendable, but the film would have been better if he had written the script in a compelling way.
Verdict
Overall, Neetho is a romantic comedy that fails to entertain. The performances of the lead pair and a few moments are its strengths, but all these are undermined by the patience-testing narrative and long running time. You can skip this movie..
